GO TU!

Us before the game..

Jack watching the drummer in the pep band..

On Saturday night we went to the Mens TU Basketball game.. as you can see, there weren't many people there (all the students had left for Christmas) But it was tons of fun. Jack loved the band and kept wanting to go get the ball on the court. As most of you know, Jason is a huge sports fan so it's always fun to go to games as a family. Hope you all have a great week!

Lions, and Tigers and Bears...

Hi everyone! Finals are finally over! We are so happy to be having somewhat of a break. Yesterday was Jasons first day without school, it was a beautiful day so we decicded to go to the zoo. We had taken Jack before but I think he is finally old enough to really understand. We was so excited he didn't know what to do with himself! He learned lots of new animal sounds and has been making them all morning. He isn't much of a talker, but he sure knows his animals! Hope everyone is doing well and I'll be posting more fun adventures we had throughout the week. Take care!

Snow in Oklahoma!?!

Hey guys! So, I thought when we left Rexburg I wouldn't have to deal with snow again for awhile.... I was wrong. We got quite a bit on Thurs. and Fri. and it's still on the ground today. I guess I don't mind as long as it's not on the ground through April! It was fun for Jack to go out and see it. At first he wouldn't even walk in it, now he is begging to go out and play in it.
That's pretty much it for now, just thought I would give you an update! Till then!

It's the most wonderful time......

I didn't even realize the picture in the background until I uploaded them..

The whole fam.

Jack had to touch every ornament on the tree. We will see how many we end up with after the Holidays!

So this year is the first time we have ever really decorated for Christmas. A Christmas wreath is about the most I have ever done before becuase we have always been out of town. This year we will be going to Texas for a week but I thought that it would be nice to still have some things up for Jack (and me too). I love this time of year! We only have about 3 personal ornaments on our tree and Jason claims that his Darth Vader ornament is the best. I can't wait to build up our collection of ornaments over the years and be able to look back on the memories we have made. Today I have been in such a festive mood....I love it! I hope you all are getting excited too!
Till then!

Big Boy!

Yes, it is that time already! Jack has been climbing out of the crib for quite sometime now and we figured that a bed isn't as far of a fall as a crib. Jasons' mom came down to spend thanksgiving with us (which was very nice) and we were lucky enough to have her give us Jacks Christmas present (toddler bed) a little early. He has done really well so far. He goes straight to sleep when we put him to bed and he stays in it all night! yay! We are in the process of finding some big boy sheets and stuff so it's just random blankets for now.
He is growing so fast I don't know what to do with myself!
I have another blog to post soon.. we are putting our Christmas tree up tonight!
Till then.. Take care!

Funny Faces

Jack loves to wear the Mr. Potatoe Head glasses! He thinks he is SO COOL!

"Vroom Vrooom!"

"Don't bug me mom!"

I have no idea...but he loves making this face..

Jacks favorite toy: Dads skateboard!

Jack is constantly cracking me up throughout the day and I wish that I could capture every moment. These are just a few moments that I have caught on camera. It has been a good week and you can tell that the Holidays are approaching! It is sooo beautiful right now. Maybe I'm just used to living in Rexburg and seeing fall for about a day and then it snows. We are really enjoying the cool weather and beautiful scenery. Finals are approaching and these next few weeks will be pretty hectic but we make it through. After this semester Jason will be half way done with Law school! yay! We are in the process of finding some job opps. for Jason this summer (any ideas?) We have a few things we are waiting on... hopefully one will work out.
Jack and I are keeping busy with going to playgroups and working. We go over to a families house twice a week and I clean for them and Jack plays with the boys toys. It's nice. He is starting to talk more and more each day. He loves to make animal noises! Well I better go! Until next time..Take care!

Pumpkin Patch!

Climbing on the pumpkins...

Throwing the Pumpkins

Bella, Natalie and Jack..

Photo opp..

Hey Everyone! As you can see, we had a fun trip to the Pumpkin Patch today. As soon as we arrived Jack pointed and said, "Mom, Ball!" He thought all the pumpkins were balls. As soon as he got close enough to one he kicked it like a soccer ball and then he tried to pick up a bunch and throw them! He thought it was so fun to climb all over the pumpkins. They also had a little petting zoo and Jack loved the goats, he thought they were dogs! I guess we need to work a little on expanding our vocabulary! Hope everyone has a fun Halloween.. and don't forget to send pictures! Take care guys!

Halloween is right around the corner!

Hey guys, I thought I would post some pictures of the Hulkster for you. He went to a Halloween Party at play group the other day. It was so much fun to see all the kids. Jack actually liked his costume and I taught him how to show us his muscels, but he wouldn't do it for the camera. I'll probably post some more later.. just thought I would give ya'll a little preview!

Outside Fun

"Catch Mom!"

Jack applauding himself for throwing the ball.

In deep thought about....?

Hi everyone. This week it has cooled down quite a bit, but that hasn't stopped Jack from getting his outside fun. He loves to play outside! We try to make it to the park every other day. (there is one right by our house) Jack is just so much happier after he has had some fresh air and exerted some energy!
Things have been pretty hectic this week. I work at Bath and Body Works 1-2 nights a week and it's really nice to get out of the house and have some adult interaction. It's also really nice for Jason to have some alone time with Jack.
We are excited for the Holidays and to see some family! It will be fun for our family this year because Jack will understand what is going on a little better. There are Halloween parties coming up so I will have to post some pictures for you next week! Till then have a great week!

Here we go!

This is our family at Woodword Park, there is a beautiful rose garden there that I know you would love Grandma!

Just Jack and I being silly... he loves sticking out his tounge!

I have procrastinated long enough! I have decided to experiment with this whole blog thing and use this in place of a journal for awhile. I thought it would be kind of fun to share memories and this way everyone can see pictures of our little family:) Anyways, I'm hoping to post a little something on here about once a week or so. I know it's easy to forget about us being all the way in Oklahoma so I'm forcing all of you to remember us by reading about our lives once a week! I'm really excited to get this going and hopefully we won't be too boring for you.
For those of you who we haven't been in touch with for awhile I'll give you a quick update.. We are living in Tulsa Oklahoma where Jason (my husband) is going to The University of Tulsa College of Law. He is in his second year now. (yay one more to go!) I am staying busy by running after our son Jack who is now 16 months old and playing with all of my fabulous friends that I have made. At times it is a little tough because Jason is gone a lot. Law School takes up a lot of time but hopefully it will be worth it and he will love what he does. Ok well that's enough for now. Surely I'll have something to write about soon. Till then take care!
